Imoye: Revised

Imoye means knowledge in the Yoruba language. In the global context, the term is embraced as the understanding of core elements of Ifa/Isese as a way of spirituality, adherence to philosophical and religious tenets, and inner growth. In the seeking of knowledge, Oloye Karade, a chief babal'awo and prolific writer on the subject, pens his experiences and insights on the tradition and in doing helps initiates (and non-initiates) to further investigate their African spiritual practices. He shares his views on the importance exploring origins, history, and cultural aspects of the Ifa/Isese path and, as a result, rising to heights of inner development, enlightenment, and divine reflection. The book clearly places Oloye "Baba" Ifa Karade among the uninhibited who strive to elevate Ifa/Isese via intellect, analysis, and reflection.
